Devin's Weekend Visit

This weekend was one of the best weekends ever! Granny and Grandpa came in Thursday night and brought Devin James for a weekend filled with October fun! We got up early Friday morning and bought doughnuts (and Starbucks) and headed to the Pumpkin Patch. However, when we arrived so did about two dozen daycare buses and a few school buses. Then we ran into the Mittig's (after Tyler got hurt twice in the bounce house's) and we decided to grab a few pics and break the cardinal rule of loyalty head over to the "other" PP. I hate to admit it but it was so much more relaxing...we were one of about 12 cars in the parking lot and the kiddo's were able to run free without any worries. Devin could have stayed there all day long, he loved everything....

The rest of the weekend we spent going to Tyler's game, the Alliance Air Show and just hanging out around the house. The biggest hit of the weekend was the boys driving Lighting McQueen around. The first time they took him out on the street together mom and I were laughting so hard we had tears! Another one of my favorite memories was Saturday night we made a fire (not a good combination with Devin) for smores and blew up Tyler's bounce house to sit in and tell stories. After that the boy's got their flash lights and ran around the yard in the dark. It was such a fun night that we hated to call it to an end but when we finally did the boys fell asleep in about two seconds!

Pumpkin Patch: Round One

This day was going to be a not stop Saturday full of fun activities but bless his heart, Tyler got sick. We knew he must have been feeling pretty awful when he ask to go home on a hay ride being pulled by the big tractor! So we cut our first visit to the Pumpkin Patch short and headed home (where Tyler went down hill really fast) and skipped his second Tee ball game.

Home Depot Day! This is one of my favorite projects that they've made...whistle firetrucks!

Tyler doesn't remember that he was starting to feel really sick here but instead he finds it hilarious that he was putting hay in Maggie's hair.

This picture was so hard to get b/c I had to balance her then jump back and snap and catch her before she fell........hopefully we'll get a chance to go back and try for a remake before the PP closes.
